According to Tom Campbell the reality is virtual, not ‘real’. It is pixelated and constantly being reproduced like the movie on a computer screen. It is our individuated unit of consciousness which is playing with the avatars on the screen. It is so immersed in the 3-D plot that it is usually not aware that it is not really on the screen. There is nothing smaller than the pixels, the size of one Planck length. The objective is to increase the level of our self awareness and thus to lower the entropy of the overall consciousness system of which we are a part. Lowering the entropy is synonymous with enhancing compassion and love.
According to Bashar there is nothing ‘out there’ out there. It is a projection of our consciousness within consciousness. We are ‘shifting’ from reality frame to reality frame, thus creating the illusion of time and movement. Actually we are creating those frames at the rate of Planck time because we are constantly re-creating the universe, from moment to moment to moment. Everybody of us is creating his or her own universe. We are the only one in our universe. Others are in their own universe, recreating that universe billions of times per second.
Tom Campbell may sound a bit complicated sometimes. He has a tendency to be overly precise. But he is fighting a 'David against Goliath' battle against materialistic mainstream physics. He is a pioneer, systematically examining out-of-body experiences at the Bob Monroe Institute in the 80s, and applying scientific principles WHILE ON THE OTHER SIDE. Based on crowdfunding he is currently conducting experiments designed to prove or disprove his version of the virtual character of reality. Another outstanding author and scientist is Jim Elvidge. It is their merit to articulate limits and inconsistencies of the current mainstream paradigm of physics and to widen the perspective so as to include the subjective dimension, i.e. dreams, the paranormal, etc. His trilogy 'My Big T.O.E.' is freely available on the internet. He claims that it is HIS big theory of everything. Emphasis on HIS, meaning JUST his. Everybody is invited to develop their own big theory of everything which fits individual backgrounds, convictions and experiences better. Regarding his current experiments Tom Campbell can be contacted at CUSAC or via some of the numerous videos on youtube.
Tom Campbell is examining the set of rules (e.g. gravity, etc.) determining how the production of our virtual reality works:
which corresponds to level 5 in Bashar's cosmology of how we create our own individual virtual reality in a way that basic parameters such as gravity or speed of light are a 'given' (and shared by consensus) so that we don't have to constantly think about creating it in order not to float away into the sky.

These people don't really 'exist' in your reality, only your version of them, which is a representation that provides the illusion of an interface. You get from them what you allow yourself to be getting from them, not more, not less. Bashar: 'It doesn't happen to you, it happens through you'.
The actual interconnection to the individuated consciousness you think you are dealing with takes place 'on another level' (Bashar).
The logic is similar to an interactive computer game with frames and reality perspectives which are constantly being renewed.

‘Basically, cellular comprehension straddles time. There is then a way of introducing ‘new’ genetic information to a so-called damaged cell in the present. This involves the manipulation of consciousness, basically, and not that of gadgets, as well as the time-reversal principle. First the undesirable information must be erased. It must be erased in the ‘past’ in your terms. Some, but very few, psychic healers do this automatically without realizing what they are doing. The body on its own performs this service often, when it automatically rights certain conditions, even though they were genetically imprinted. The imprints become regressive. In your terms, they fade into a probable series of events that do not physically affect you.’ (‘Unknown reality’, session No 705)

A series of videos with information instrumental in positioning Bashar and Seth in the context of leading-edge scientific results can be found here:
Apart from quantum physics and astronomy the videos are elaborating on the commonalities of the various approaches, visualizing Bashar (conceiver, receiver, perceiver) and Seth (framework 1, framework 2).They provide a good intro into the different concepts. Relatively easy to understand.
As you are looking at one photograph in your personal history, that represents your emergence in this particular reality or the reality that was accepted as official at the time it was taken – so you are looking at a picture of a representative of your species, caught in a particular moment of probability. That species has as many off-shoots and developments as you have privately. As there are probable selves in private terms, there are probable selves in terms of the species. As you have your recognized, official past, so in your system of actuality you have more or less accepted an official mass history. Under examination, however, that history of the species shows many gaps and discrepancies, and it leaves many questions to be answered.’ (session No 695)
'Everything about parallel realities': https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xFrmzc4uYrg
While Bashar is rather employing the term 'parallel self', or 'parallel version of you', in his cosmology Seth is mainly focusing on 'probabilities' and 'probable selves', which are basically in line with Bashar. As Seths' concepts are more comprehensive, they help elucidate the complex nature of multidimensional reality. In the case of Bashar it is never entirely clear whether he is talking about:
a) former or future lifetimes of the 'greater you that you are',
b) overlapping lifetimes lived concurrently with yours,
c) the lives lived (by other portions of yourself) in parallel dimensions, or merely
d) the frames (reality production frames) you have left a moment earlier while shifting through an infinite number of them, thus creating the illusion of time and movement.
In the case of Seth, probabilities follow the qualifiers of 'likeliness' and 'significance', emanating from the 'inside' of any given activity or situation (similar to a fractal when visualized). For Bashar everything which can be conceived of must be by definition happening somewhere, somehow - otherwise it would not be part of 'All-that-is', i.e.: otherwise 'All-that-is' would not be ALL it could be.
